ETIS Ltd was established in 1997 to further develop and market innovative free-form insulation system for exhaust gas manifolds.

One year later in 1998 ETIS was awarded first place with two additional special prizes at the competition “Technologiestandort Schweiz”. Since 1999 ETIS has shown further innovation with the development of noise absorbent system and the combined heat/acoustic insulation systems for the automotive industry. ETIS Ltd also possesses unique patents for insulation and absorbent-systems.
